Selected Experiences

The Government of Panama, who is organizing the Regional South-South Cooperation (SSC) Fair Knowledge from the South with the support of the UN system, coordinated by UNDP, has announced the list of 33 experiences that will participate in the event. Twenty countries of Latin America and the Caribbean will be represented.

By subject area, 13 experiences of social programs and social protection systems (PS) 10 of Citizen Participation, Inclusion and Public Policy (PC) 4 about fiscal policies to promote equity and social investment (PF), and 6 environment and disaster risk reduction (MA) experiences were selected.

The jury, consisting of four thematic panels, with fourteen experts in each of the areas covered by the Fair and a final advisory committee that validated the decisions of the thematic panels, chose the finalists from a total of 69 experiences presented in the competition.
